Job description:
Help kids improve their Chinese fluency through fun, interesting conversations over our proprietary video-conference platform using PandaTree's engaging content modules.
Gently help students with new words or corrections as needed and add new words to the student’s personalized word list. After the lesson, tutors write an update note.
Tutoring lessons last 25 or 50 minutes. Five to 15 minutes of prep time is required for each lesson. Lessons are recorded for later review by the student and for ensuring quality.

Youth Flag Football Coach - San Leandro - Fall 2025

We seek passionate & committed part-time Flag Football Coaches for K-5th grade students in San Leandro for the Fall 2025 season!
Make a positive difference in America's youth by coaching youth flag football after-school programs. No previous coaching experience is required - we train all coaches.
Do you love working with youth, teaching sports and wellness, and helping others improve? As a Youth Sports Coach with ANTS (America's Next Talented Stars), you'll lead or assist one or more weekly after-school sports programs in our Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro school communities. Our upcoming spring session runs from August 2025 through December 2025 (must be available for the entire season). Time commitment is 2-10 hours per week, depending on how many classes you teach.
Depending on your interest and experience, you may have the opportunity to coach other sports as well. Sports include soccer, tennis, flag football, volleyball and more! We provide all necessary training, equipment, and support. Being an ANTS Coach is a great way to learn to coach sports while serving our community. Great coaches will be invited to return for the entire school year and even weekend/summer programs!
Coach Responsibilities
Lead a fun & safe weekly sports practice for kids ages 5-10
Teach the FUNdamentals of sports through a cohesive and game-filled lesson plan. Training provided!

This position will coach at one or more of our ANTS partner elementary schools in the San Leandro, Hayward, San Lorenzo and/or greater East Bay area. The ANTS Team will work with each coach to assign locations that work best for you.
Schedule
Classes generally occur between 2 and 6 p.m. on the same day each week for a 10 to 14-week season. You must be available to coach in the afternoon on your program day (at least one day/week). Classes last for 1 to 1.5 hours and our programs offer back-to-back classes for different age groups.
Requirements
Transportation: Coaches must have reliable transportation to their coaching sites. You may be required to bring equipment to & from class, so a vehicle is very helpful.
Responsible & professional: Arrive on time to each practice and keep accurate attendance. Interact with parents and school staff positively.
Communication: Have strong communication skills. You will communicate with ANTS, parents, and site staff through email and phone.
Enthusiastic & fun: ANTS coaches are positive role models for our students. We expect that you share our deep beliefs in the larger themes we are promoting: sportsmanship, wellness, and positivity.
Patience: Be a patient person who understands young children & their need to develop at their own pace.
Experience: Experience as a player or coach (at least two years) is highly valuable, though optional.

Position Summary:

Youth Tennis Coach - Oakland/Piedmont - Fall 2025

We seek passionate & committed part-time Youth Tennis Coaches for beginner K-5th students in Oakland and Piedmont for the Fall 2025 season!
Make a positive difference in America's youth by coaching youth tennis after-school programs. No previous coaching experience is required - we train all coaches.
Do you love working with youth, teaching sports and wellness, and helping others improve? As a Youth Tennis Coach with ANTS (America's Next Talented Stars), you'll lead or assist a weekly after-school sports program at one of our Oakland area elementary school communities. Our Fall season runs from August - December 2025 (must be available for the entire season). Great coaches will receive offers to work in future seasons. Time commitment is 1-15 hours per week, depending on how many classes you teach.
Depending on your interest and experience, you may have the opportunity to coach other sports as well. Sports include tennis, basketball, soccer, flag football, pickleball, and more! We provide all necessary training, equipment, and support. Being an ANTS Coach is a great way to learn to coach sports while serving our community. Coach Responsibilities
Lead a fun & safe weekly tennis practice for kids ages 5-11
Teach the FUNdamentals of tennis through a cohesive and game-filled lesson plan. Training provided!

Schedule
Classes generally occur between 3 and 6 p.m. on the same day each week for a 10 to 14-week season. You must be available to coach in the afternoon on your program day (at least one day/week). Classes last for 1 to 1.5 hours. Some of our programs offer back-to-back classes for different age groups.
Requirements
Transportation: Coaches must have reliable transportation to their coaching sites. You may be required to bring equipment to & from class, so a vehicle is very helpful.
Responsible & professional: Arrive on time to each practice and keep accurate attendance. Interact with parents and school staff positively.
Communication: Have strong communication skills. You will communicate with ANTS, parents, and site staff through email and phone.
Enthusiastic & fun: ANTS coaches are positive role models for our students. We expect that you share our deep beliefs in the larger themes we are promoting: sportsmanship, wellness, and positivity.

Youth Multi-Sports Coach - Fall 2025

We seek passionate & committed part-time Youth Multi-Sport Coaches in San Francisco for the Fall 2025 season!
Make a positive difference in America's youth by coaching youth sports after-school programs. No previous coaching experience is required - we train all coaches.
Do you love working with youth, teaching sports and wellness, and helping others improve? As a Youth Sports Coach with ANTS (America's Next Talented Stars), you'll lead or assist a weekly after-school sports program at one of our San Francisco communities. Our upcoming Fall season runs from August - December 2025 (must be available for the entire season). Time commitment is 3-18 hours per week, depending on how many classes you teach.
We provide all necessary training, equipment, and support. Being an ANTS Coach is a great way to learn to coach sports while serving our community. ANTS partner schools & communities are located across the Sunset District, Cole Valley, West Portal, NOPA, South San Francisco, and Ingleside. Classes will run at community parks, tennis courts, and elementary schools. Join our team!
Coach Responsibilities
Lead a fun & safe weekly sports practice for kids ages 5-10
Teach the FUNdamentals of sports through a cohesive and game-filled lesson plan. Training provided!
Ensure a safe and reliable program by arriving on time each week on your program day for the entire season.
Attend an orientation training in person
Interact positively with parents, teachers, and school staff
Set up before and clean up after your program
Transport all sports coaching equipment to/from class each week
Locations
As an SF area coach, you'll join one of our ANTS partner schools & communities in San Francisco and/or South San Francisco. Classes will run at community parks, tennis courts, and elementary schools.
Schedule
Programs generally occur between 10:30 am and 5 p.m. on the same day each week for a 10 to 14-week season. You must be available to coach in the morning and/or afternoon on your program day (at least one day/week). Classes last for 1.5 - 3.5 hours. Some of our programs offer back-to-back classes for different age groups.
Requirements
Transportation: Coaches must have reliable transportation to their coaching sites. You may be required to bring equipment to & from class, so a vehicle is very helpful.
Responsible & professional: Arrive on time to each practice and keep accurate attendance. Interact with parents and school staff positively.
Communication: Have strong communication skills. You will communicate with ANTS, parents, and site staff through email and phone.
Enthusiastic & fun: ANTS coaches are positive role models for our students. We expect that you share our deep beliefs in the larger themes we are promoting: sportsmanship, wellness, and positivity.
Patience: Be a patient person who understands young children & their need to develop at their own pace.
Experience: Experience as a player or coach (at least two years) is highly valuable, though optional.
Background check: A successful candidate must pass a Federal and state Background Check and/or FBI Fingerprinting (Livescan) and test negative for TB test (within the last 4 years).
