Position Summary: The Electrical Estimating Assistant will work closely with the estimating team to help prepare accurate and timely bids for electrical construction projects. This role involves quantity takeoffs, bid document review, subcontractor/vendor coordination, and general administrative support throughout the preconstruction process. The Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) is responsible for consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others in matters related to plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and the methods, practices and safety precautions involved in construction and installation of the work. The TCIS prepares daily progress reports and maintains progress schedules; checks shop drawings and contractors' quotations for variations; keeps records of quantities and cost of materials used; prepares contractors' periodic progress payment claims and recommends payment.
