We are seeking an experienced Glazier, and Glazing Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. GLAZIER $20.00 - $30.00 PER HOUR: Responsibilities: Interpreting schematics and blueprints to plan work procedures. Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing glass and mirrors. Fabricating metal frameworks for glass installation. Applying caulk, seals, and weatherproofing to installations. Using both hand and power tools effectively for glass cutting and shaping. Performing construction painting as needed for glass installations. Assisting with metal stud framing and frame carpentry when required. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Glazier or in a comparable role (at least 1 yr. exp.) Proficiency in using hand and power tools for glasswork. Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and a focus on precision. Knowledge of caulking techniques for glass installations. Clear driving record (required) Experience: Construction: 1 year (Required) Glass installation: 1 year (Required) Customer service: 1 year (Required) Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience as a Maintenance Person with construction-related skills. Familiarity with metal stud framing techniques. Proficiency in frame carpentry for glass installations. This is a full-time position with an hourly pay range of $20.00 - $30.00, along with potential bonus opportunities and a performance bonus. Benefits include on-the-job training and a referral program. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with 8-hour day shifts and no nights. --------------- GLAZING ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER $25.00 - $35.00 PER HOUR Responsibilities: Manage and lead the estimating in preparing accurate and timely project estimates Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate Develop cost estimates by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements Negotiate prices with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive bids Utilize software such as GDS Estimating and AutoCad for accurate estimations Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure accurate budgeting Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field Proven experience in construction estimating in GLAZING and project management Construction estimating 2 years (Required) Strong knowledge of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and construction means/methods Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Clear driving record If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction estimating and project management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
