Must be responsible for maintaining works areas in a clean and orderly manner. Also prepares the carts for the used plates and cups.\r\n Checks the reservations for the morning and lunch meals and prepares the signs needed for the tables.\r\n Opens restaurant doors and monitors that the buffet area is well stocked and clean. Also inspects the floor area frequently, especially main walkways, for any spills and makes sure it is cleaned immediately.\r\n Ensures that all the residents are served and all their needs are met. Helps with beverage refills. Also helps those residents requiring assistance in carrying their plates/glasses.\r\n Helps clear the tables of used plates and utensils assuring that there are no used plates around that the residents no longer need.\r\n Clears and cleans all the tables in time for the following meal. Refills condiments and beverages.\r\n Arranges silverware for each assigned station.\r\n Makes sure the buffet food is fresh and hot, and replenished.\r\n Helps those residents requiring assistance with their plates and also their walkers.\r\n When the meal period is done, makes sure that the tables are clean and buffet areas are clean for the following day.\r\n Insures that the refrigerator and cabinets are clean and organized. Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement. CRM experience preferred. Payroll: • Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data in ADP Workforce Now. • Update payroll records by entering New Hires, changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers, etc. • Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments. • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. • Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests. • Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential. • Calculate and prepare Payroll related general ledger entries. • Research and prepare special reports for management. • Communicate with insurance carriers and other program vendors. • Other accounts payable and payroll duties administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications and skills: Three years' experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles • Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks, Jonas or similar proprietary Accounting Programs • Experience in services related to payroll such as writing checks and submitting payroll taxes • Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
