SR APPLICATION DEVELOPER WITH TYLER MUNIS ERP EXPERIENCE – PASADENA **** LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY **** Sierra Cybernetics is seeking a Senior Application Developer to work for us supporting our City of Pasadena client. You must be skilled in requirement gathering, business analysis, leadership, reporting, and security management. Tyler Munis ERP experience in HR/Payroll and/or Finance is required. Open to US citizens, green card holders, and H1-b visa holder. This is up to a six month assignment working on a 9/80 schedule with alternating Fridays off and two days per week working remotely. You must be available & responsive within 15 minutes via Teams during agreed-upon work hours. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Architect and manage integrations with third-party platforms. 2. Investigate and resolve ERP application errors, bugs, or performance issues. 3. Provide Tier 2 support to business users and collaborate with IT and vendors for root-cause analysis. 4. Develop reports, dashboards, and SQL artifacts (e.g. queries, Views, Stored Procedures) using built-in tools or external BI platforms such as SSRS and Power BI. 5. Proactively identify inefficiencies, automate workflows, and align system functionality with evolving business needs. 6. Maintain technical documentation for customizations, workflows, and configurations. 7. Administer ERP user roles and permissions in alignment with business policies. 8. Technical lead for ERP upgrades, updates, and workflow redesigns; create test cases and assist with unit, integration, and UAT testing.

We are a large value driven VAR working with over 1000 clients in the US. Who I'm Looking For: Someone with ERP Experience with Order Entry, Quote Forms, Purchase Order, and Inventory Transactions. Programming in Visual Studio, using Blazor Forms, C#, Radzen, and SQL Stored Procedures. Full Stack Developer. This is because much of our platform will be looking at accounting data for AI to analyze. Being in business for 45 years we have much of the code written but need to expand and add new features. We currently are using components from Radzen. Ability to work with Visual Studio, Visual Code. We have 50 percent of the AI Chat Bot written. Mostly this is about forming SQL tables with memories, chat history, and other data. You should have some knowledge with Agents. We already have the connections on our chatbot to a local LLM which we are training using vectoring and advanced learning. We have API connections to Open Chat GPT. We are working on connections to Watson, and Grok. You need to know how to work with MS SQL Express and create tables. You should feel comfortable working with API, even if in a teaching environment. Most of the technology is changing so your ability to learn and grasp new ideas is the main feature we need, and of course be a good logical thinking person who can understand how objects work and put them together in working logical format Are you located in Massachusetts (Greater Boston, MetroWest, Worcester County, or similar). You’re comfortable sitting initially in our offices to work alongside other developers. Most employees are working local not remote. Working remote is possible with scrutiny. The First Project Milestone: Set up a secure Azure server Create a simple webpage. Upload a PDF (store it for future AI use) Create simple memory notes (simulated database entries) Connect the site to OpenAI (for basic chatbot testing) Authenticate with Open AI in Linux, close all ports, setup server and AI Send a prompt to Open AI Receive and Display the Answer from Open AI Write a Pytorch add-on to add pdf files to AI Model Add a text box for adding to memories of AI Model Create the database (MDB) or other, for storing this data, secure and encrypted. Test functionality and confirm uploads and chat work Target: About 20–40 hours total. (Work over a few days or spread out over a week — flexible.)
