Position Summary The Electrical Services Superintendent leads all on-site activities for industrial and heavy-commercial electrical projects—from safety and scheduling to subcontractor coordination and customer interface. This role owns project performance (safety, cost, quality, and schedule) and serves as the client’s day-to-day point of contact while reporting results to an Area or Project Manager. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: Safety Awareness: o   Enforce all customer, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and corporate safety policies. o   Lead daily safety briefings, job-site audits, and incident investigations. Project Planning and Execution: o   Develop and update detailed work plans, manpower forecasts, and look-ahead schedules o   Allocate crew assignments and verify craft competency. o   Lead and direct crews and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project scope and expectations. o   Secure tools, equipment, and materials; verify deliveries and inspect incoming product. o   Ensure documentation including daily reports, time entries, and permits are complete and accurate. o   Actively manage schedules to maintain project momentum and meet deadlines. o   Maintain accurate timecards, daily reports, and work permits. Financial Management o   Apply industry best practices to minimize rework, delays, and cost overruns. o   Monitor labor hours, material usage, and change orders to control project budget. o   Collaborate with PMs and Operations for financial reporting. Quality Control: o   Ensure all work complies with customer specifications, industry codes, and internal standards. o   Conduct inspections and enforce corrective actions when necessary. o   Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for documentation and turnover packages. Customer Focus: o   Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for customers. o   Maintain open communication and promptly resolve issues or concerns. o   Support customer satisfaction through transparency, responsiveness, and professionalism. Critical Thinking: o   Identify, analyze, and resolve project challenges swiftly and effectively. o   Anticipate potential obstacles and take preemptive corrective action. o   Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining forward project momentum. Requirements Qualifications and Education Requirements: o   Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience as an Electrical Superintendent in industrial environments. o   Deep knowledge of NEC, electrical installation standards, and construction practices. o   Strong understanding of electrical services, construction methods, and relevant safety regulations. o   Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members, customers, and stakeholders. o   Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with Lotus Notes preferred. Physical Requirements: o   Stand/walk frequently (33%–66%). o   Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs. o   Occasional bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching. Work Environment: Exposure to various site conditions, including extreme weather, noise, dust, and environmental hazards. Irregular and extended working hours may be required, including evenings and weekends. Mental Demands: Independent decision-making under pressure. Multitasking and complex planning. 1. Install, maintain, and repair low-voltage systems, including cabling, routers, switches, access points, and other network equipment. 2. Pulling and fishing Ethernet cables to ensure proper installation and cable dressing for optimal performance. 3. Terminate Ethernet cables following industry standards for structured cabling systems. 4. Replace Enterprise network equipment such as access points and switches as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to network operations. 5. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of Wi-Fi and ethernet connections using specialized testing equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly. 6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of low-voltage systems with the overall network infrastructure. 7. Keep accurate records of work performed, equipment installed, and configuration changes made to facilitate tracking and maintenance. 8. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users in resolving network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. 9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance expertise and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements 1. Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar role, with a focus on cooling, fishing, and terminating Ethernet cables. 2. Hands-on experience in replacing Enterprise network equipment like access points and switches. 3. Proficiency in using tools such as a laptop, drill, Ethernet equipment, and Ethernet testing equipment to perform job responsibilities effectively. 4. Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, and network infrastructure and cable certification 5. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing low-voltage installations and conducti Wi-Fi surveys 6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues efficiently. 7. Good communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. 8. Education and Certifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2. Certification in low-voltage systems, structured cabling, or related field is preferred. 3. Additional certifications in network equipment installation and maintenance are a plus. Working Conditions: 1.
