Green Leaf Solar is Hiring a Solar Installer! About the Role Green Leaf Solar is seeking a motivated and safety-minded Solar Installer to join our growing team. As a Solar Installer, you will work on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial solar and electrical systems across the Bay Area. This is a hands-on position with travel opportunities to various local and regional sites. Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $25 – $35 per hour (based on experience) Key Responsibilities Install commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including panels, racking, and inverters Perform electrical connections safely and in compliance with codes Read blueprints and follow installation plans Coordinate with the team to ensure timely, high-quality project completion Travel to multiple local and regional job sites as needed Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area Requirements Must-Have Qualifications Willingness to work on projects throughout the Bay Area At least 1–3 years of hands-on experience in commercial solar and electrical installations Comfortable with travel requirements (local/regional) Nice-to-Have Technical knowledge of PV systems, NEC code, inverters, or energy storage systems (ESS) Electrical Journeyman License (for electricians) Benefits No Weekend Work!

Ability to adjust your communications to provide the best customer experience possible. Ability to create detailed job notes in the customer’s account for future reference. Ability to both teach and learn by sharing thoughts/experiences with your coworkers in meetings and in one-to-one interaction. Willingness to try new ideas and recommend process improvements to your manager with the objective of improving efficiency/effectiveness. The ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace both in a customer’s property and your company vehicle. Position Summary The Electrical Services Superintendent leads all on-site activities for industrial and heavy-commercial electrical projects—from safety and scheduling to subcontractor coordination and customer interface. This role owns project performance (safety, cost, quality, and schedule) and serves as the client’s day-to-day point of contact while reporting results to an Area or Project Manager.
