We're looking for a 2nd Shift Receiving Supervisor to take charge of all inbound activity—managing people, product, and processes to ensure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. You'll be the go-to person for leading the receiving team, keeping things organized, and making sure every pallet that rolls in gets checked, logged, and stored with care. What You’ll Be Doing Leading the Team Supervise and support a team of receiving associates with energy and clarity. Handle training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management. Build a team culture that’s accountable, efficient, and focused on results. Running the Floor Oversee unloading of inbound shipments with precision and urgency. Ensure all products are inspected, documented, and entered into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately and quickly. Keeping it Accurate Verify that received goods match purchase orders in quantity and condition. Flag and report any discrepancies or damaged product immediately. Maintaining Inventory Integrity Work with the inventory team to ensure incoming stock is tracked correctly. Help with cycle counts and contribute to clean, well-organized inventory records. Cross-Department Collaboration Partner with procurement, inventory, and shipping teams to keep operations aligned and efficient. Act as a key communicator between shifts to ensure continuity and problem-solving. Driving Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline receiving processes. Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives that increase accuracy and reduce waste. Prioritizing Safety Promote and enforce safety protocols across all receiving operations. Ensure the team uses proper PPE and equipment in the cold storage environment. Staying Organized Maintain logs and documentation for all inbound activities. Create daily reports to track receiving performance, discrepancies, and issues. Requirements What You Bring Education High school diploma or GED required. A degree in logistics, operations, or supply chain management is a plus. Experience 3–5 years in warehouse or logistics operations with a focus on receiving. 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Cold storage or food logistics experience is strongly preferred. Skills Strong leadership and communication skills. Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities. Proficient with WMS systems and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel). Forklift certification is a plus. Physical Requirements Able to work in cold storage conditions (as low as -20°F). Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for long periods. Comfortable with physical work, including bending, walking, and operating warehouse equipment.
