Volunteers needed for MRI and pain research study at City College (Harlem / Morningside)

Scientists at the Psychiatry Research Institute at Montefiore Einstein (PRIME) are interested in your personal experiences with pain. In this study, we may ask you about a time you had trouble getting the health care you needed. We may also collect images of your brain with an MRI scanner while you play a game and/or receive pain stimulations. The results of this experiment will help us to understand how social and economic experiences influence pain. Brain scans will take place at Advanced Science Research Center at the CUNY Graduate Center (City College) 85 St. Nicholas Terrace, New York, NY 10031 This study involves 1 - 2 visits that last about 1 - 2 hours. Your time will be financially compensated. You must be between the ages of 18 and 65 to participate.
