Participants Needed for Research on Stress, Depression, and the Brain (Belmont)

Researchers at McLean Hospital are recruiting females between the ages of 14-18 who are currently feeling depressed or down as well as females who are not feeling depressed/down. You can earn up to $299 and receive a picture of your brain. Researchers at McLean Hospital are investigating factors that make some females better able to cope with stressful experiences and what makes some females more vulnerable to experiencing depression. By participating, you can help them better understand, prevent, and treat adolescent depression. Participants will answer questions about their thoughts and feelings and will also undergo an fMRI brain scan. Parent permission is required for females under 18.
