Key Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition in an emergency and critical care setting Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures, including triage, wound care, and life-saving interventions Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by the veterinary team Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies required for emergency procedures Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood work and urinalysis Provide anesthesia monitoring for critical patients Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' conditions, treatments, and progress Support the team by keeping the workspace organized and well-stocked Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff in a high-energy environment This is a full-time daytime position with 12 hour shifts, scheduled three days per week. Available shift options include: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. ***Sign-on Bonus *** Shift Differentials: Sunday - Thursday Night differential $4.00 (7:30p - 7:30a) Friday/Saturday Night differential $6.00 (7:30p - 7:30a) Saturday/Sunday Daytime differential $2.00 (7:30a - 7:30p) What are you waiting for? Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT), preferred Previous experience in ICU is required. Emergency Veterinarian - Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers Looking for something different?  Fetch Specialty & Emergency Centers is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian to join our new team in Clearwater, Florida. Job Responsibilities Serve as the chief champion of guest service as relates to the emergency team. This includes regular oversight/review of processes to ensure an optimal guest experience is being provided in the ER Serve as the liaison between the emergency team and other hospital services. This includes working to facilitate a seamless interaction for the care of patients through the transfer process, specialist consulting on cases, and working together to support hospitalized pets Review and address any referral partner complaints Review current processes and ensure optimal support and experience of referral partners Coordination and generation of the ER doctor schedule to ensure appropriate coverage Approve/Review PTO requests for the ER doctors, while making appropriate schedule changes to ensure coverage Overseeing the level of medical care (best practice) provided by the emergency clinicians and helping to address issues with support by the other administrators Assisting in, or leading, the interview process for new doctors Participating in the on-boarding of new doctors to ensure a smooth transition and continued optimal performance of the emergency team Participate in, support, and foster the training of emergency trainees (Fetch University).
