An active community of 250+ doctors who collaborate, support one another, and enjoy having fun! Requirements Providing in-home euthanasia and hospice care to geriatric and terminally ill pets. Guiding families with end-of-life decisions. Have a FL DMV license and DEA in good standing. Physical and other job requirements Veterinarians are required to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs assisted. Veterinarians must be able to walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, stand, and reach consistently during the workday. Veterinarians must have manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and the ability to keep their hands steady while using medical tools. Prolonged periods of sitting while driving. A valid driver's license and a well-maintained vehicle that can carry a stretcher (approximately 2’ x 4’) under A/C Working knowledge of smartphones, tablets/computers, GPS, and digital medical records. Myers, FL As a family-owned emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, we offer advanced and specialized veterinary services to our guests and referring veterinarians. Our team of veterinary professionals provide compassionate care and exceptional guest service to our patients and guests alike. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to pets in critically emergent situations. An emergency veterinary technician plays a critical role in emergency veterinary care, focusing on the initial assessment and prioritization of patients based on the severity of their condition.
