The Position: You will lead our athletes in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development. The Schedule: The majority of classes are held during the after school hours and on weekends. The ideal candidate would have the availability on some of the days and times listed below: Monday-Friday (Times): 10:00-4:00 Weekends: (Times) 9:00-12:00 New Coaches can work *5-25 classes a week The Location: Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers. Coaches are expected to travel up to 25-30 minutes to get to a class location. Position Overview The HR & Safety Coordinator oversees core HR functions, employee relations, compliance, and onboarding, while managing and implementing safety programs and training. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone with a strong HR background and working knowledge of workplace safety regulations. Coordinate safety meetings/trainings; report and investigate incidents/accidents and maintain corrective-action follow-ups. Support management with HR policies, procedures, and best practices; recommend improvements. Clean Driving Record Working knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety practices. Strong organizational, follow-through, and clear written/verbal communication skills. Proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus. Comfortable using spreadsheets, and standard office tools.
