Hello- We have one room available 10/01/25 (possibly sooner, if needed) in a quiet East Petaluma neighborhood home to rent. About the room and house: The room is large enough for a desk, dresser, queen-sized bed, and more. There is a decent closet in the room, plus a large shared closet in the hallway. The bathroom is shared with one other housemate and kept very clean and tidy. The house has been lived in by one of the current tenants for a few years, so just about everything you need is here in the shared areas (TV, sofa, cooking equipment, etc). Large living room, kitchen, and a two-car garage that we use for storage, projects, and as a home gym. There is a decent backyard and patio with a grill and smoker, lawn, and plenty of space. Washer and dryer are in garage, and we can fit three vehicles in the driveway. About the housemates: There are two current housemates. Both are working professionals that keep regular hours; one is in biotech pursuing their PhD, the other works at a local brewery in town as an engineer. We tend to keep to ourselves for the most part, but we aren't non-social; we are friendly, responsible, and clean. Some hobbies of ours include: video games, TV and movies, cooking, Dungeons and Dragons, weight lifting, and more. We are both pretty easy going and tend to keep things at the house the same way; we think of home as a place to come to after a long day to rest and relax and enjoy our time. We keep the house clean but aren't uptight about it. We are fine with occasional guests coming over, but definitely not a party house. We hope to find a like-minded, employed, responsible individual to fill the vacancy. Rent is $860 (with $1000 deposit) Bills are generally ~$200 and include gas/electric, water, garbage, internet, and a landscaping service. We rent through a realtor, so a credit check and application (with a small fee) is required. Sorry, no pets.
