You would be sharing the kitchen and deck with the three roommates in the main unit. Lease ends in August. $850/mo. + shared utilities (internet, electricity, and cooking gas come to roughly $30–40/month). Heat is included in the rent. The security deposit for the room is $1275. Our landlady gives us 3 percent interest on this amount. The apartment is in walking distance to Lincoln Park, Oz Park, the North Pond, Lincoln Park Zoo, and the Lakefront Path. Also a brief walk to a number of grocery stores (e.g., Trader Joe’s, Mariano’s), Walgreens, bars, restaurants, convenience stores. A 10 minute walk to the Fullerton station (red, brown, and purple lines), and a 5 minute walk to Halsted (8) and Fullerton (74) buses, or else the Clark (22) and Broadway (36) buses. Who we're looking to live with: Looking for a housemate who is quiet, clean, considerate, and communicative. Mid-20s & above preferred. Someone reliable in paying their share of bills and pitching in to keep the house tidy and; organized (we have a cleaning rotation), buying household items when needed (which we also keep track of to ensure fairness), etc. With regard to communication: it’s imperative that you are someone who is able to openly communicate about roommate issues to keep the relationships happy and healthy.
