$840 / 3br - Open room in JP (Jamaica Plain)

Hi! We're looking to fill 1 bedroom in a 3 bed, 1 bath apartment for an October 1st move in. The apartment is in Jamaica Plain (between Forest Hills and Green St), 3 bedrooms total, 1 bathroom, hardwood floors, and in unit laundry! Rent is 840/month/person plus utilities (hot water is included). The available room is the "primary" bedroom which includes 2 windows, hardwood floors, ceiling fan/light, and 3 (yes, THREE) closets! We will probably ask each roommate to put a utility in their name. Household items are split evenly (paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc). Non resident street parking all around the apartment. We tend to keep the thermostat low in the winter to save on utilities. Really responsive landlady. Roommate 1: 37, male, works a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days at home) Roommate 2: 34, male, works full time in office We mostly keep to ourselves but are always down for a conversation when we run into each other. Ideal roommate will be similar in age, quiet, has experience living with roommates, and must be LGBTQ friendly. We generally do most of our socializing out of the house. We are open to all so please don't hesitate to reach out (just no Trump supporters please). The bedroom comes unfurnished. When reaching out, please include a little bit about yourself, work schedule, what you're like as a roommate, etc. Landlady will require a credit check, first and last month, and will want to meet you in person before signing a lease. Upon finding someone to fill the open bedroom, the three of us will sign a new lease that will end on 05/31/26 with the option to renew.
