$1,400 / 2br - Adorable 2bed 2bath Overlook apartment (Overlook)

Hello!! We have a super cute 2 bed 2 bath basement apartment on a quiet residential street in one of the coolest neighborhoods in Portland available immediately. This apartment has wood floors throughout, lots of big windows and light for a basement space, and 2 bedrooms—each with its own full bathroom attached. Large closets in bedrooms, plus an additional storage closet in the living room. Washer/dryer shared with us in the shared mudroom, plus forced air heat and air conditioning so this apartment stays nice and warm all winter and cool in the summer. We share a large backyard and are within a 5 minute walk from lots of cool things: Milk Glass Market, Advice Booth (the BEST trivia!), Old Gold, Spitz, and not far from New Seasons on Interstate, and a bunch of other places. We are a 1/2 mile to I-5, four blocks from MAX and four blocks from the N Portland Adidas campus. It takes ten minutes to drive to the center of downtown and that's with traffic. Rent is $1400 + utilities (approx. $150/month) About us: We are a young couple working in the floral industry. We both work early hours (as early as 5am) Monday through Friday mostly but some weekends, and are pretty quiet with the exception of an occasional game night or dinner at home with friends. We keep to ourselves mostly but are very friendly and personable. We would love to find chill, sweet people to move in here who are quiet, respectful of our home and our quiet hours, and easy to communicate with. Maybe even people who will have a drink with us at the fire pit from time to time (no pressure)! We spend most of our off-time at home with our sweet cats Manny and Beans, but in the spring/summer/early fall we like to spend time outdoors, visit cool bars, go on walks, cook, etc. We are looking for people who have maybe lived in a basement apartment before and understand what that entails (footsteps, creaky floors, etc) and who are clean/tidy and willing to do some light yard work/cleaning of shared spaces when necessary. We do most of that ourselves but it can become a lot sometimes! Let's see what else.... Apartment is not furnished. Non-smoking on the whole property, lease is month-to-month, no dogs (cats ok), street parking (and lots of it), and very nice neighbors all around us. Move-in ASAP (willing to wait until October 1st for the right people). Move-in costs are a deposit equivalent to one month's rent plus your first month’s rent (this total will depend on the move-in date, as the rent will be pro-rated). MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK!
