Qualifications Qualifications: • CDL Class A required • Doubles endorsement required • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency. • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Key Responsibilities: • Load, transport, and deliver supplies to customers, job sites, or company locations in a safe and timely manner. • Verify orders against invoices or delivery tickets to ensure accuracy before leaving and upon arrival. • Provide courteous, professional service when interacting with customers and staff. • Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining the parts warehouse or storage area. • Help with inventory control by checking shipments, reporting discrepancies, and performing cycle counts as needed. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are fueled and in proper working condition. • Follow company safety policies and traffic regulations at all times. • Support other team members with general duties as required. Qualifications & Skills: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (company vehicle may be provided). • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 60lbs. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Good communication and customer service abilities. • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Work Environment: • This position requires regular lifting, bending, sitting and standing. • Deliveries may involve exposure to varying weather conditions. • Flexible schedule may be required, including occasional weekends and overtime.
