Visions for New Beginnings is opening the state’s first privately owned Intensive Habilitation Service (IHS) program, and by applying, you will have the opportunity to raise the standard of group home care. IHS is a community-based program that provides habilitative services for 90 days, that are based on a client’s most prominent target behaviors as identified by the client’s family in conjunction with the DDA case manager and IHS staff. Job duties include but are not limited to: - Documentation - Cooking/Cleaning/occasional peri-care - Behavior modification and redirection strategies - Clear direction and coaching on everyday life skills. - Weekly, if not daily, parent communication - Daily collaboration with the on-site manager on each client's specific program Requirements: -High school diploma or GED -21 years of age -A reliable vehicle with valid insurance -1 year of experience caring for children or adults -The ability to work weekends -The ability to pass a state and federal background check Shift Available: 1 pm-9 pm or 2 pm-10 pm, mornings on weekend days You must work weekends and holidays if they fall on your scheduled day.
