The Electrical Technician will be responsible for providing programing, troubleshooting, installation and repair of vehicle electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems within the manufacturing industry.  This position requires you to use your excellent problem-solving skills, high attention to quality and safety, and positive teamwork attitude to drive your career. The Battery Test Technician will perform tasks in conditioning and testing Amprius Technologies’ proprietary silicon anode Li-Ion cells.  This is a temporary role with the opportunity to be converted to a regular employee.   Job Responsibilities Perform routine tests on Amprius batteries to evaluate performance, safety, and quality. Utilize tools/equipment such as pneumatic cutter, electric drill, degas machine, and formation machine. Load cells into test fixtures, set-up and execute electrical cell tests. Measure cells using mass scale, digital multi-meter, and caliper. Perform visual inspections to identify and evaluate potential defects. Identify and escalate failures or unexpected behaviors to the Engineering Team within defined response time. Monitor and maintain testing equipment and calibrate as needed. Participate in troubleshooting and identifying causes with Engineers and Technicians. Accurate documentation of the data.
