Description

We’re looking for a Content Creator to help bring our ideas to life across social, digital, and cultural platforms. You’ll concept, craft, and publish content that connects with audiences, captures attention, and reflects the spirit of our clients’ brands. From short-form videos to social-first photography, memes, copywriting, and trend-driven activations you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping work that people want to share. Day-to-day, you’ll generate ideas, capture and edit content, and collaborate with teams across Creative, Account, Strategy, and Production. You’ll be plugged into culture, quick to experiment, and skilled at turning insights or trends into polished, high-quality outputs that ladder back to brand goals. The right person is both imaginative and resourceful; someone who can shoot, edit, write, and design at a fast pace without sacrificing craft. You’re always tuned in to what’s happening in culture, whether on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and you know how to take a brand’s voice into those spaces authentically. *Applicants must be legally able to work in the USA. We cannot sponsor visas for this role at this time. About Us Bakery is an independent creative and culture agency designed to ignite people's obsession in great products. From our headquarters in Austin, TX, we work with highly ambitious brands like Johnnie Walker, Nike, Shiner Beer and Tree Hut to infuse cultural value and drive desire at every interaction point, increasing their fandom and helping them make things people want. Bakery is a 2022, 2024 and 2025 AdAge Small Agency of the Year. Primary Responsibilities Content Creation: Develop, shoot, edit, and publish engaging content across social and digital platforms (video, photo, copy, graphics, memes, etc.) that brings brand campaigns and day-to-day storytelling to life. Cultural Awareness: Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments, and translate them into relevant content opportunities for our clients. Collaboration: Partner closely with Creative, Strategy, Account, and Production teams to align content ideas with campaign objectives and brand tone of voice. Hands-On Craft: Operate as a one-person content shop when needed—filming, editing, designing, or writing independently while also collaborating with internal and external partners. Agility: Move quickly from concept to execution, delivering content at the speed of culture without sacrificing quality. Community Connection: Help shape how brands show up in conversation online by creating work that sparks engagement, conversation, and fandom. Quality Standards: Bring a sharp eye for detail and storytelling, ensuring every piece of content meets our craft standards while feeling culturally relevant. Requirements 4–5 years of experience creating content for brands, agencies, or cultural platforms (social, digital, video, design, or copywriting). A passion for shaping ideas into culturally relevant content with meticulous attention to craft, knowing that the right edit, caption, or frame can make all the difference. Excellent knowledge of social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, etc.) including formats, best practices, and publishing tools. Strong editing skills in programs like Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) or comparable tools (CapCut, Final Cut, Canva, etc.). Ability to shoot and produce your own content (DSLR, mirrorless, or phone) with a strong understanding of lighting, framing, and sound. Exceptional multitasking skills to manage multiple content streams and deadlines while staying calm under pressure. Quick adaptability and problem-solving skills, comfortable pivoting when a trend shifts or a brief changes. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clarity, collaboration, and follow-through. Proven ability to work across teams and disciplines, inspiring creativity and bringing fresh ideas into the mix. Familiarity with workflow tools like Microsoft Office, Slack, Smartsheets, Google Workspace, or similar platforms. An intense drive to “make things happen,” turning scrappy ideas into polished, share-worthy content—often without a perfect playbook. Must submit a portfolio showcasing strong content creation across platforms, ideally work that has generated cultural buzz, brand engagement, or award recognition. Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Unlimited Vacation Time 2 weeks Work From Anywhere (WFA) 401(k) matching Pet-Friendly Office Yearly Creative Stipend Snacks, Meals and Drinks No Time Tracking!
