Demand Planner

Role: Demand Planner Location: Sunnyvale CA / Austin TX – Onsite Position Type: W2 Contract Summary:   ·       Looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate for the position of Worldwide Demand Planner. This role is an opportunity for a dedicated individual to apply their eye for business, technical skills, project management skills, and analytical skills to deliver timely and relevant demand forecasts. ·       The worldwide demand planner will manage demand forecasting and planning for a part of the Customer Care & Repair business. ·       The candidate needs to be confident in working with cross-functional teams and in using analytics to build and improve forecasting method. They will be required to analyze large amounts of data, identify significant trends, and adjust to meet an ever-evolving demand landscape. ·       The candidate should also be able to effectively communicate data analysis and forecast impacts to a broad audience of Customer Care internal customers. ·       The candidate should be a creative problem solver, who is passionate about building, maintaining, and driving innovative process and methods to deliver outstanding customer service.     Description   ·       We make sound planning decisions and support those decisions with analysis and insights backed up with data. As a team, we complete root cause analyses and develop mitigation plans for any unexpected demand changes. ·       You will work with cross-functional team members in Engineering, Procurement, Channels, Readiness, Capacity Planning, and Supply Planning to execute the most cost-effective supply chain solutions for Customer Care & Repairs. ·       You will play a leadership role in the standardization of deliverables; ensuring adherence to commitments.   Key Qualifications   ·       Experience in forecasting or planning ·       Adept at merging data from a variety of sources to generate conclusions through analysis Expertise in creating reports and analytics dashboards in Tableau ·       Good programming skills in SQL and Python or R preferred ·       Experience with database technologies like Teradata, Oracle and MySQL preferred   Education & Experience   ·       BS degree, 5 years in a service, manufacturing, logistics operation or equivalent. MS/MBA in Supply Chain or Operations is a plus.
