For sale is a single audiophile-quality speaker intended for placement as a center channel in a 5.1 or 7.1 or 9.1 home theater surround sound system. This is a Joseph Audio brand, from their Cinergy series of speakers, model number 5.1. This is the second version (II) of this series. Complete details are listed below. This is a two-way vented-box system, composed of a single 1" silk fabric dome tweeter, and dual 6.5" aluminum cone woofers. It's an extremely massive center-channel speaker, measuring 22" wide, 15" deep, and 8" tall. It's also extremely heavy, weighing more than 30 pounds. It has two sets of speaker cable binding posts to allow bi-wiring. The speaker is constructed of genuine cherry wood and the grain on the wood is beautiful. Pictures 21 to 24 show the wood grain. The speaker is in excellent functional condition. It sounds great, with no audio distortion at all. You can test the speaker before purchase to confirm that it delivers on sound reproduction. The speaker is also in excellent cosmetic condition. There are no major scratches, smudges, dents, dings, or imperfections on any portions of the real cherry wood surface. There are some extremely tiny scratches, which are only visible if you are looking for them. But these are merely cosmetic issues that don't affect the functional performance of the speaker. As part of the purchase, I'll include four (4) banana-plug type speaker cable termination connectors that perfectly fit the speaker. These are high-quality GLS Audio brand banana-plugs. These are shown in Picture 16. Please note that no speaker cable is included in the purchase. You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport.
