Serve as the main point of contact on the floor for warehouse associates, provide training, guidance, and coaching to ensure team performance and development. Monitor and prioritize workload based on incoming orders and outbound schedules to maximize space and prevent damage. Ensure accurate and timely handling of ocean containers, pallets, LCL cargo, and air freight. Monitor real-time inventory flow Troubleshoot real-time issues related to inventory discrepancies, delayed shipments, or order problems. Coordinate labor resources to meet productivity and accuracy goals across multiple clients/accounts. Process & Compliance： Implement and enforce SOPs for freight handling, barcode scanning, cross-docking, and quality control. Lead team training on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and system usage to ensure consistent execution. Collaborate regularly with other departments to maintain alignment across operations and service standards. Ensure a safe working environment by promoting and reinforcing warehouse safety policies and best practices. Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including OSHA, DOT, and internal company policies. Requirements 3+ years of warehouse experience,. Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); experience with RF scanning technology is a plus. Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Demonstrate ability to lead by example in a team-oriented, high-volume operation. Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain. OSHA training/certification is highly desirable. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for an extended period Travel This position is not remote or a hybrid position Travel is not required. Job Responsibilities: Help to ship, receive, sort, move, manage, test, and repack inventory for thousands of unique orders per day. Receive palletized and loose box truck and container shipments. Unload and sort goods. Move merchandise throughout the warehouse as necessary and inventory goods on a quarterly basis. Sort pick tickets, walk aisles, and accurately pick merchandise for shipment. Accurately pack a minimum of 50 unique orders per hour into the correct packaging for shipment. Maintain a clean work area and sweep, re-stock, and clean the warehouse daily. Assist with product testing, repacking, and sorting of defective merchandise. Assist with various other related tasks as assigned by the Floor Supervisor or Warehouse Manager. Requirements Basic Requirements: Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record. Must possess high school level math and reading skills and be able to read and write English. Must be comfortable working on his/her feet for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis sometimes on raised surfaces. Must be able to comfortably bend, kneel, and reach for items on deep shelves. Must be able to carry heavy items up and down ladders and step stools. Preferred Qualifications: 1 or 2 years of professional industry experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution facility. An appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems. An ability to build professional, constructive, and effective working relationships as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and be assertive in implementing successful management strategies.
