Looking for an individual for Delivery Driver and Warehouse Worker for our cabinet shop. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, hard-working, a team player and takes pride in their work! Duties will be occasional deliveries in box truck, clean up, packaging finished product for shipping, restocking building materials, and being a general helping hand for builders and machine operators. Job responsibilities may grow after time. Forklift experience required and must have the physical ability lift heavy objects. We are a small business so unfortunately we do not offer health benefits at this time. We do offer 40 hours sick pay a year and two days holidays paid (Christmas and Thanksgiving). Understand and practice safe and efficient productive use of tools. Mentor and train other personnel. Requirements High School Diploma/GED minimum. Reading, writing and comprehension of the English language. Technical school courses in mechanic or machinist classes preferred. FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license or equivalent certification preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical and metal work required. Minimum 2 years of experience required. High level of integrity, confidentiality and discretion. Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quantum preferred. Read and adhere to verbal and written instructions. Make basic decisions and work with deadlines while understanding pressure. Work with people and communicate (both oral and written communication) with other personnel and management effectively. Requirements • Ability to handle and work with various types of metals and alloys, including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and others, understanding their properties and characteristics for fabrication and welding. • Experience in conducting visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of welded joints to ensure weld quality, detect defects, and comply with welding standards and specifications. • Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines for welding operations, including proper handling of welding equipment, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various positions and environments, often in confined spaces or at heights. Education and Experience •A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing environment •Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA, etc.) •Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.) •Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) Must have own face-shield. •Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs •Professional Certification (i.e., an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus

GROCO, an established Kent Island manufacturing company, is looking for: * A forklift operator / Warehouse assistant. (Experience on a stand up fork lift required) * Shipping Clerk. Job entails scanning product and packing boxes to be shipped out via UPS and Fed Ex and pulling product to be shipped out to customers. Basic computer skills needed. Pay rate would be $17-20/hr based on experience.
