Location: Palo Alto, California Schedule: Full-time, M-F Position Summary The Quality Documentation Technician will review and interpret industry and customer specifications, in terms of customer quality and processing requirements. This role will ensure that standards are effectively integrated into our quality control system, as part of our value-added service to our customers. This role will plan, develop, implement, and direct actions concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards and systems for processes, materials, and products. This role will also be responsible for conducting failure investigations, determining, and reviewing root causes of failures in order to initiate and orchestrate corrective actions. Familiarity with plating/coating industry a plus, but not mandatory. We are a large family owned meat production and distributor facility in Clackamas, OR. We are currently looking for a talented Maintenance Mechanical Technician to join our day shift Maintenance team. Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, sounds, smells or atypical energy usage; perform troubleshooting for production machinery. Usage a CMMS to schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment. Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner. Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions. Maintain machinery and the adjacent workplace in a state of appropriate cleanliness; maintain a schedule for inspection, service and testing of machinery. Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification or installation of machinery. Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and equipment manuals. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and maintain equipment and records. Familiarity with MS Office suite and applications, ability to utilize electronic communication effectively. Strong team/verbal/written skills are required. Demonstrated ability to be a Team Player.
