RESPONSIBILITIES • Reading instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary • Mixing paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture, with frequent handling of solvents • Careful and precise application of paint to individual rods, utilizing a unique and proprietary technique. • Ensuring paints and supplies are stocked and ordered, as necessary. • Conducting cleanup and maintenance of painting equipment QUALIFICATIONS • Proven experience as a painter • Knowledge of different paint compositions and mixtures, as well as the ability to prepare the appropriate paint for each job based on its properties and the surface material. • High level of precision to ensure painting is performed within the defined quality standards. • Physical capacity to stand for duration of production shift. • Good team player with effective communication skills to collaborate with other team members on large-scale projects. • Problem-solving skills to identify and rectify any issues that may arise during the painting process. SCHEDULE Enjoy a three-day weekend for a better work-life balance! Monday through Thursday. • 1st Shift 4:00AM-2:30PM Opportunities for career progression are supported, with training provided to help achieve your professional goals. COMPENSATION • The pay range is from $18.00 an hour to $21.00 an hour, depending on experience. Outstanding Medical Device manufacturer has immediate need for Medical Device Assemblers who are experienced with critical quality control line clearance procedures and are available to work 5AM-1:30PM shifts. Job Purpose: Reporting to Manufacturing Manager, assists in medical device assembly/manufacturing by following standardized procedures in accordance with QSR, ISO and company written procedures under close supervision. Will perform routine or standard assembly tasks, and support equipment operation. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: •Operate and support operation of assigned manufacturing equipment. •Understand and follows all QSR, ISO, Safety and Legal requirements. •Conduct line inspections in accordance with approved processes and/or established procedures. •Document issues in required documents or log books. If requested, effectively communicates equipment problems to engineering or the supervisor. •Set-up line and stage materials for specified job. •Support all departments as required to ensure successful completion of sub-assemblies, pilots, and projects. •Meet and support established production goals. •Other responsibilities as required. Qualifications and Experience: •High School diploma/equivalent or 1-3 years of related work experience preferred. •Ability to follow oral and written procedures and to recognize gross deviations from normal process. •Good oral and written English skills required. •Basic math skills (including percentages, fractions, unit conversion) required.
