Awesome—here’s a little more detail on what this role includes: Key Responsibilities:  Follow instructions to assemble core steel based on customer needs and company guidelines. Install various parts onto coils, including steel pieces, padding, clips, and frames. Ensure core and coil units are assembled accurately according to set standards and customer preferences. Keep tools organized for smooth workflow. Inspect transformer cores carefully to ensure they meet quality standards and size requirements. Work well with team members and follow supervisor directions to meet production targets. Always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.   Additional Skills & Requirements:  High school diploma or GED required. Ability to read and understand job-related materials and perform basic math. Previous manufacturing and assembly experience preferred, not required. Proficient with manual and powered hand tools. Experience with hoist/crane operation is a plus. Comfortable with physically demanding tasks and working conditions. Background check, Drug & Physical Screening required.   Physical and Environmental Requirements  Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Environment: Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and environmental stressors. Physical Activities: Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed. PPE: Wear required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear. Dexterity and Vision: Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment). Stamina: Stand for long shifts. Skills: Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork. Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards. This role requires the ability to work at elevated workstations and tables, reach across machinery, and perform tasks at varying heights.
