Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is excited to team with a local company in Ferndale that is looking for a machine operator. This is a long-term position with a $500.00 bonus! The bonus is split in half and will be dispersed $250 at 30 days and $250 at 60 days. Pay: $22.50/hour to start, pay increase after probationary period Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am Position Type: Evaluation Hire Location: Ferndale, WA Job Duties & Responsibilities include: Set up and operate mechanical equipment, including lathes, mills, saws, ovens, blenders, grinders, polishing equipment, counting equipment, and hand tools Run production, monitoring parts and equipment to ensure accurate, high-quality parts are made safely and as efficiently as possible Complete required paperwork, including but not limited to production batches, work orders, time sheets, maintenance log, and transfer sheets Assemble parts according to specifications; follow prints or verbal directions to put together parts using hand and power tools and other assembly as necessary Master all critical Manufacturing operations: Forklift driving, sawing, deburring, tumbling, washing, and polishing Skilled at using standard shop tools: arbor press, hammer, nails, ruler, tape measure, read shop prints, and more HS diploma or equivalent Production/manufacturing experience required; Machine shop and CNC operation preferred This Company Offers: Benefits starting your first day Cost-sharing options for Medical, Dental, Vision Company provided STD, LTD, and Basic Life Insurance.
