The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving material around the plant for production to run smoothly.  Work involves a high degree of alertness and concentration to completes tasks. Work related problems have known solutions but may require some cause-and-effect analysis and can be resolved by using prescribed methods and procedures.  Incumbents may not always control their work pace, and there is time sensitive to finish job tasks. perform multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure safe and quality production. Incumbents will be performing production tasks which may be in a PSM area and be exposed to adverse characteristics in the work environment. Has beginning to intermediate level setup skills for departmental equipment.   Operates various assigned production centers. Monitor stock levels, identify low inventory situations, and initiate replenishment processes as necessary. Utilize inventory management systems or software to track materials and ensure adequate supply availability. • Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all designated areas within the facility, including floors and common areas. • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed • Perform other duties as assigned.
