Objective The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring inventory is accurately accounted for, properly stored, and handled in a safe and organized manner. This role collaborates closely with the management and production teams to support operational goals while maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. This is a seasonal position. This is a non-exempt position with a hourly pay range of $25-30/hour. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Production Demonstrate effective communication in a professional and respectful manner. Collaborate with team members to meet company standards and goals. Provide training, direction, and leadership to maintain a successful, safe, and organized work environment. Deliver shift instructions and hold team members accountable for execution and accuracy. Ensure warehouse documentation is completed, accurate, and legible. Plan and direct receiving, labeling, and appropriate storage of inventory. Record and inspect deliveries for compliance with purchase orders. Supervise and operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks). Stage and organize orders for shipping, production, and storage in accordance with FIFO and company/customer standards. Conduct routine, periodic, and annual inventories with accuracy and precision. Food Safety Implement and enforce departmental procedures and food safety protocols. Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and SQF requirements. Identify and report any food safety concerns to management immediately. Attend all required food safety training. Maintain a clean, organized, and continuously improving warehouse environment. Qualifications 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility. HACCP and SQF training preferred; familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and internal policies required. Has beginning to intermediate level setup skills for departmental equipment.   Operates various assigned production centers. Loads material, removes turnings, and maintains specified lubricants and coolants as required. Operates and performs basic set ups on departmental machines such as manual lathes, CNC turning centers, slotters, drill presses, etc. Operates and performs sets up on a variety of customized secondary operation machines, drill presses, thread tapers, dimple presses, washing tanks, broaching presses and honing centers. Inspects articles to verify conformance to specifications. Identifies damaged or inferior quality products. Performs necessary preventive machine maintenance and cleaning. Accurately and reliably maintains all paper work, or data input requirements of the department. Assists in training coworkers on how to operate, adjust, and set up machines. May perform in a temporary lead role. Requirements Skills and Experiences You’ll Need as a CNC Production Machinist 1:   High School diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years similar machining/manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of experience required. Intermediate blueprint reading skills. Ability to read blueprints and measurement gauges to inspect for part conformity. Basic math computation skills. Ability to understand and apply geometric concepts (e.g., angles and degrees) in making basic adjustments or setting up basic tooling and holding fixtures in the laser machines. Good organizational skills and ability to multi task (i.e., operate one machine while setting up another).
