Aslan Brewing Company is a B Corp based in Bellingham, WA, focused on producing and distributing world-class organic beer using local resources, low-impact practices, and socially equitable initiatives in order to promote a healthier, happier, and more conscious community. Aslan is currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Associate to lead the management of Aslan inventory. In this role, you will be responsible for logistics of building, sending out and receiving orders to the warehouse, assisting in delivery of beer to local wholesale accounts, managing the Aslan fleet, and the organization of all warehouse activities. You will play a critical role in the company’s success by representing Aslan in the local market, as well as ensuring accuracy in inventory management. This role is expected to be full time, ranging from 32 - 40 hours per week depending on season - check out the benefits this role comes with below! Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the Aslan warehouse operations to ensure incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. The Warehouse Associate works closely with management, operations, and sales, to maintain high performance of Aslan’s warehouse storage and shipment processes while maintaining a high degree of warehouse safety. Duties/Responsibilities: Directs shipments and resolves logistical challenges by communicating with clients, transportation providers, suppliers, and internal Aslan departments. Plans, organizes, and participates in daily warehouse operations and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of tools and materials. Routes, schedules, and prepares orders for delivery; oversees loading and unloading of delivery vehicles. Schedules and maintains Aslan Fleet vehicle maintenance. Maintains regular communication with Retail Managers regarding order needs. Organizes and maintains warehouse appearance and functionality and ensures efficient space utilization. Ensures retail locations are properly stocked with product for operations at all times. Produces reports and statistics regularly (FIFO status reports, dead stock reports, etc.) Operates, forklifts, lift trucks, delivery vehicles, and pallet jacks as necessary. Assist sales team in delivery of kegs kegs and cans to local wholesale accounts. Occasionally execute a tasting of product in local wholesale market/assist in spreading brand awareness by visiting local accounts. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills. Strong knowledge of warehousing and inventory management. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in supply chain management or related a plus. 2+ years warehousing experience preferred but not required. Previous forklift experience required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work on feet for 8+ hours a day. Ability to read, write, and understand English.
