The Business Development Representative identifies and cultivates new market opportunities to drive sales growth in Echo360’s global higher education and corporate markets. This role focuses on lead generation, market analysis, and sales strategy execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams to position the company’s EdTech and corporate L&D solutions effectively. Requirements The Primary Responsibilities for this role include: Research and identify new markets and sales opportunities within Echo360’s higher education and/or corporate market segments. Build and nurture a pipeline of leads for new logo acquisition and expansion sales. Qualify opportunities and build strong relationships with decision-makers. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to penetrate competitive sectors. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and enablement teams to create targeted campaigns and resources. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales approaches. Track, measure, and report on sales activities and outcomes.   The ideal candidate for this role will have/be: 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or market strategy, preferably in EdTech or SaaS. Strong understanding of higher education and corporate learning environments. Fluency with CRM tools including Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Analytical mindset with experience in market research and sales performance analysis. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Job Details: This position is FULLY REMOTE; we will consider candidates who are located in many, but not all, states within the United States.  For US-based positions, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.   The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 annually.   Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
