Position Summary The Regional Sales Director has proven success in achieving sales targets by providing input into the development of their sales forecasts, developing and implementing regional business account plans, and developing and maintaining dealer relationships in the furniture manufacturing business. The Regional Sales Director will develop and implement strategies that will encourage sales innovations and strategic business development in New York/ New Jersey. The employees must also ensure that the company remains competitive and well positioned in the marketplace. These individuals will achieve those aims by conducting thorough market research, keeping abreast of industry developments and trends, and fostering a positive and productive culture within the Sales Team. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies that will encourage sales innovations and strategic business development Ensure that highly productive relationships and partnerships are maintained with Customers for the benefit of the company Devise and deploy sales goals and objectives across the organization, including the preparation of sales quotas and budgets Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors’ operations on sales Uncover new markets and drive Business Development Achieves or Exceed Sales Targets Develops and Implements Account plans Enhances Dealers Relationships Optimizes Marketing Optimizes Sales & Administration Processes Enhances our BRC Team and advances the Company Culture Other duties as assigned   Requirements To be able to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
