The Houston Tortoise Rescue is a family-owned and operated sanctuary that will provide a safe haven for all unwanted or displaced tortoises and turtles (and most other reptiles for that matter). We have 40 years of extensive experience caring for and breeding different species of tortoises, turtles, and other reptiles. We promote the conservation of species via responsible husbandry and education. Rescued/surrendered animals that do not fit into our personal breeding projects will be rehomed within our network of vetted caregivers that will provide safe and happy forever homes. Our mission is to promote the conservation and assure the survival of all chelonian species.
