Skills: • Skilled in managing construction schedules • Skilled in handling logistics for remote projects • Skilled in working on fuel, natural gas, hydronic heating systems and glycol systems. • Ability to read technical data, and submittals • Knowledge of local and state codes, Uniform Plumbing Code. • Manage crews • Sizing of equipment, calculating heat loads • Doing assessments, troubleshooting & diagnostics for emergency repairs and upgrade projects • Coordinate with Lower tier subcontractors such as insulators, controls, TAB services • Basic computer skills, including email, scanning programs, construction software, PDF's, and Microsoft applications such as Excel & Word • Proficiency in using hand tools relevant to plumbing tasks. • Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations related to installations. • Experience with pipe threading techniques for various types of piping materials. • Ability to read blueprints accurately to guide installation processes. • Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus for integrated projects. • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills • Experience in maintenance person services or remodeling projects is beneficial for diverse job responsibilities. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of plumbing work.
