ShareFull-Time Ranch Hand at a private horse ranch in Santa Rosa, starting immediately We are seeking a dedicated, hard-working Full-Time Ranch Hand to join our team at our private ranch in Santa Rosa, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with significant horse handling experience, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for ranch life. The primary responsibilities will include daily care of our horses, as well as general upkeep of our ranch property and its facilities. This is an hourly position with some Saturday and Sunday work- usually 45-50 hours/week. Compensation during a trial period of (90) days at $22 - $25/hour. After a successful trial period, on-site housing, including all utilities, is provided, plus hourly pay of $17-$20/hour (equivalent to $34-$38/hour including housing). Requirements include a minimum of (5) years of ranch hand experience working with horses, fluency in spoken and written English, and the ability to understand verbal and written instructions easily. Must have experience operating tractors/mowers, ranch equipment, lifting 50 lbs. (hay bales, etc.), and the ability to work with minimum supervision is required. Additional requirements and information will be provided during the initial interview. Candidates may be asked to successfully complete a paid, follow-up on-site working interview to be considered for hiring.
