Description

General contractor looking to hire multi skilled tradesmen to do drywall, painting, finish carpentry, cabinets, plumbing, flooring, tile or any combination of trades. We specialize in repair work. Must be able to blend/match textures. Carpentry includes baseboards and casing. Hanging doors is a plus. We repair closet organizers and install cabinetry. Most jobs are smaller repair work. Primary plumbing tasks include water heater detach/reset, and install of finish, toilets, and appliances- no re-pipes or heavy lifting. Opportunities for prevailing wage work performing above trades. Personal vehicle allowance, tools provided, health insurance. This is a full time position. Part of the application process includes background check and drug testing. Must have good driving record. Must show up for work, ready to work and be able to take direction. Must give a shit. Must take pride in your work, your appearance, and in representing the company with good communication and a positive attitude. Plant People Northwest is a small, sustainable landscaping company. Our service area includes North Seattle, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, and Magnolia. We seek an experienced gardener/ horticulture grad to join our year-round crew. We’re accepting applications for part time (minimum 3 days/week) and full time. Basic Qualifications: • Work history showing 1+ years of professional gardening experience with a Western WA, horticulture-focused company, OR a hort degree/ certification (or both!) • A working knowledge of plant and weed ID, horticulture and pruning practices. • Enthusiasm, energy, and stamina. • A cooperative, helpful, positive personality. • Adaptability with challenges, setbacks, and changes of direction. • An intuitive knowledge of how to work briskly and "look busy". • A self-directed desire to learn and grow! • Have a clean driving record, a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites, and a smartphone for accessing our calendar and other tools. Pay and Benefits: Starting pay is $22-24 DOE. If you have ample experience/credentials and leadership qualities, we will move you into crew leadership as quickly as possible, which would come with an additional raise. Our crew lead in training make $26 and our crew leads start at $27.
