Key Responsibilities • Installation, maintenance, and repair of sawmill equipment, conveyors, motors, and industrial machinery. • Perform precision welding (MIG, & Stick) and metal fabrication as needed. • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for equipment maintenance and repair. • Operate grinders, drills, saws, and misc. power tools for troubleshooting and repairs. • Follow all safety protocols and ensure a secure work environment. • Work independently and collaboratively to meet job deadlines. • Travel frequently between job sites in Washington and Oregon, often on short notice. What We’re Looking For • Experienced Millwrights with a background in sawmill maintenance, heavy industrial work, or steel fabrication. • Strong mechanical aptitude, with skills in troubleshooting and repairing equipment. • Ability to weld (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabricate metal components. • Comfortable working long hours in demanding environments (heat, cold, rain, and rough terrain). • Frequent travel required—must be willing to be on the road and work at various job sites. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Ability to lift 50+ pounds work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks. • A strong team-oriented mindset—we value people who take pride in their work and support their crew.
