Santori Woodworking in Lompoc Ca, is looking to grow our team. We are in need of a high-end custom cabinetry finisher. Successful candidates will have at least 5 years verifiable experience mixing/matching stains, finishing custom, high-end residential and commercial cabinetry and millwork. You MUST have the experience and knowledge required to be considered. This is not an entry level position, Responsibilities - Mix and apply stains, paints, and finishes to cabinets following established processes - Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and filling imperfections - Utilize hand tools and power tools for finishing work - Read and interpret blueprints to understand finishing requirements - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Operate and maintain airless paint spraying equipment for efficient finishing Ideal candidate will be able to work independently, as well as with other members of the team, to ensure a quality product is produced and have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. The ability to follow instructions and good communication skills are a must. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., bend, and stoop and stand on feet for long periods of time. We are not looking for mechanics from other trades. Current knowledge on components and compatibility. Maintain a clean workspace and respect provided tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with clients positively. Service writing experience is a plus. Retail sales experience is a plus, with inventory management skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Must be able to work weekends. A passion for cycling or related activities is beneficial but not mandatory. Small local shop looking to add carpenters to handle an ever expanding workload. Experienced applicants should be familiar with construction from formwork to finish. Those looking to start in the trade need to be eager to learn and not shy of actual work. High school diploma or GED required and ability to communicate fluently in English is a must.
