Z Electrica INC is currently seeking a full-time Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians The role of the Journeyman Electrician is to maintain, oversee and work along side crew of electrical apprentices and installers. A Journeyman will work under the guidance of project manager and contribute to several job specific activities including employee training; installations, alternations, and repair of electrical systems. Responsibilities/ Physical Demands • Responsible for operating company vehicle in appropriate manner per company policies. • Investigate and problem solve to determine best way to install changes to existing service orders. • Participate in weekly safety meetings • Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. • While performing essential functions of this job service Journeyman electrician will: • Bend and twist body • Repeat same movements • Stand for long periods of time • Crouch/ crawl • Climb ladders, Scaffolds or poles • Lift up to 50 pound • Some travel to go out of town is required (Per Diem is provided) • Safely operate equipment: lifts, booms, forklifts etc. • Journeyman Electrician License (Must Hold a Current Journeyman License) • Personal Set of General Tools • Clean Driving Record • Clean Background Check • Ability To Pass Drug Test • Ability To Lift and Work with No Restrictions • Able to Communicate Effectively • Can Operate Scissor Lift / Boom Lift • Knowledge to Navigate Smartphone / Tablet Effectively Job Type: Full-time Salary: DOE Experience: • Commercial Service: 2 years (Required) License: • Journeyman Electrician (Required) Requirements: *No felony convictions for 10 years / No DWI charges / Clean driving record. *Criminal background & driver license will be checked. *Must have a valid drivers license to drive company trucks. *Basic electrical tools / cordless drill (all other tools will be provided) Qualifications: *Must have a current Texas TDLR apprentice or journeyman license. *Must have all basic electrical hand tools and cordless drill to perform electrical work. *Experience in commercial and / or industrial electrical work.
