ShareOPERATORS: • Must be able to operate heavy construction equipment such as backhoes, excavators and loaders in a safe manner • Have experience in digging over/under and around live gas, electric, phone, fiber, water and sewer lines. • Experience with joint trench is desired. ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: • Must pass DOT drug test • Must have a valid California Driver’s License and safe driving history • Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted • Must be able to reach, grasp, pull, push, and use hands for fine manipulation and be able to use a variety of hand tools • Must be able to read and fully understand grade stakes • Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring device • Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily OT when necessary • All employees must be capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
