We are currently seeking technicians that will use electrical, plumbing, shop and irrigation skills to service, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of fountain brands as well as assist in the assembly and installation of new units. The position will require strong electro-mechanical skills, customer service skills, regular interaction with customers and prospects and being a contributing member of a great teamwork environment. Working, driving, and installation in a variety of weather conditions is routine. A strong commitment to safety, consistent with company policy, is a must. Duties/Responsibilities: Service, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of fountain brands, as well as assist in the assembly and installation of new units. Education and Experience: Mechanical and electrical knowledge: 1 year (preferred). High school or equivalent (required). Some college helpful but not essential. Physical Requirements: Physical strength and agility to safely and sufficiently operate equipment such as boats, all-terrain vehicles, trucks and other assigned equipment or vehicles in outdoor environments, on or near water, in an environment that may include heavy vegetation, uneven terrain, various species of wildlife and varying weather conditions. Ability to safely winch, launch a boat on uneven terrain from a trailer, including when required, the ability to move or carry a Jon/utility boat to the shoreline up to a distance of 50ft. Ability to pull electrical wire/power cables, dig trenches, bury conduit/power cables and lift, move and install weighted tubing used for aeration installations. Must be able to service fountain motors that vary in size and weight. This will require the ability to on occasion flip fountains over, lift or move fountains ranging from 50 to 100lbs.
