Concrete Construction Foreman (hayward / castro valley)

Our team of employees are professional and knowledgeable in the construction industry. We are seeking self-motivated, eager to learn, hungry for opportunity, with some experience Foreman. Job Description: Study new plans for new projects as required, color in key notes and details for job site efficiency. Lay out all new work for: structural concrete, flat work, curbs, curb & ramp, slabs etc. Manage all on site activities: all crew members, implement safe operations of all crew members, manage quality of work for forms and concrete finishes. Foreman will plan, assign, schedule, and supervise the work of concrete crew, laborers, truck drivers, and equipment operators engaged in the construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of projects All materials needed will need to be ordered 24 hours in advanced to give operation manager time to make arrangements for delivery or pick up. Stay in consist communication with Supervisor to report daily production, any issues that need attention relating to construction project and crew members. Work with onsite superintendents to meet customer schedules as best possible, report any issues to superintendent that relate to constructing the project. Work with all inspectors for onsite inspection, ensure all work will pass all required inspections before inspector shows up on site. Coordinate all inspections with onsite superintendent and/or supervisor Schedule out crew and materials on a daily basis, and provide an estimated schedule for 3-5 days in advanced, for small jobs schedule out crew and materials until job is completed Concrete orders need to be placed in as much advanced notice as possible, and ordered within +1yd of actual quantity needed Operate equipment as needed: Skid steer & Excavator, Roller, etc Verify crew members arrive on site on time on daily basis Benefits: Paid Holidays Accrued Time Off Health Coverage: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(k) Bouns Program after 3 years Job Type: Full-time Job Location: Hayward Hayward, CA Required experience: Concrete Foreman: 5 years Job Type: Full-time Driver License Required
