We're a small property management startup in Berkeley looking for a Maintenance and Repair Associate to help us keep our properties in top condition. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and use our mobile app to manage their daily workflow. This includes receiving and closing out work orders, logging time and materials, and providing concise notes on the work completed. Your ability to communicate effectively through the app is crucial for success in this role. Responsibilities include: -Responding to basic maintenance requests promptly. -Performing simple repairs and upkeep (e.g., clearing clogged drains, flipping breaker switches, installing basic doorknobs, etc.) -Assessing and reporting on larger problems. -Using our app to manage work orders and log progress. -Communicating clearly with the team. If you are a hands-on individual who is comfortable with technology and values clear, consistent communication, contact us today. We are looking for someone reliable who can take initiative to handle day-to-day issues. This is a contract position. $22/hr, 3 days per week from 11am-3pm (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - we may be flexible on this). This role is expected to grow over time.
