You will work within a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. Candidates will develop, implement, and run engineering processes in support of a large Agile software development program. Candidates will provide engineering leadership to development teams including subcontractors and will be responsible for ensuring team work products meet program requirements. Responsibilities Leadership: Lead and oversee all technical aspects of the OPIR framework system design, development, integration, testing, and deployment. Establish standards: Set technical standards and processes for data handling, quality, and integrity to ensure all system development complies with mission and regulatory requirements. Technical oversight: Support engineering review boards and provide technical direction to ensure the integrity of deliverables and the overall system Communicate with stakeholders: Act as the primary technical interface between the engineering team, program management, senior leadership, and external customers. Present complex technical concepts and project status clearly. Delaware Nation Industries/Emerging Technologies is seeking an experienced Enterprise Tools Administrator to support the Navy Forge contract. This person will be responsible for administering, configuring, and optimizing Jira and Confluence environments to support enterprise project management and collaboration. This position requires a Secret clearance and is a full-time, 5 days per week onsite role located in College Park, MD. The overarching objective is to ensure a secure, reliable, and efficient IT environment that enables Forge developers to rapidly and effectively develop and deploy ICS software. The Contractor shall provide IT Operations support for the FDE, encompassing Systems Administration and Cloud Engineering services. This person will work within a larger team construct and is required to effectively collaborate with government and other contractor personnel within an Agile development framework in the performance of this contract. A Secret Clearance is REQUIRED. A Security+ Certification is REQUIRED. This position is 100% onsite. About the Role We're seeking a hands-on Staff Engineer to provide technical leadership for our Django-based SMS marketing platform. This is a critical role focused on maintaining stability while evolving a high-volume system. This position will build trust as a technical expert while helping the team make great decisions to improve and scale messaging infrastructure.
