In this role, you will support the center in various tasks. Your responsibilities will include daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules including but not limited to classrooms, office areas, bathrooms, storage areas, outdoor playgrounds, and entrances. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and other common areas. Complete routine trash removal. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving of cleaning supplies. Maintain positive relationships with children, staff and parents, and communicate effectively with all members of the team. Attend and participate in professional development and training sessions as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Must be able to pass a background check. Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus. Reliable and dependable with strong work habits; expected to be in place and ready for work at scheduled times, with minimal tardiness or absenteeism. Reliable and compassionate, capable of fostering a warm, nurturing environment for children and families. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Displays a friendly and positive demeanor, with a creative and energetic approach to work. Commitment to maintaining a clean and professional appearance. Demonstrated dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance record. Tdap and MMR Vaccination TB Screening Must be able to work 2PM - 6PM shift. Work Environment & Physical Demands Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stand, and sit on child-sized furniture or on the floor for extended periods. Ability to repetitively lift and move children, with a weight capacity of up to 50lbs. Comfort working in a moderate to noisy environment. Preparedness to assist children in emergency situations. Physical ability to stay within arm's reach of children, ensuring proximity and safety. Participation in safety drills, adhering to guidelines including relocating children, which may involve moving cribs with multiple children to designated safe areas. Connelly School of the Holy Child is excited to announce an opportunity for a creative and passionate individual to join our Development Team for a day, ash they facilitate a Visual Arts project at our Mayfield Market Event on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 8 am - 12 pm. This special event focuses on fostering creativity and holiday spirit through engaging arts and craft activities for the children who attend Mayfield Market. The Stipend for these 4 hours is $250. Responsibilities: Design and lead hands-on visual arts and craft workshop(s) for children so they can leave the event with a keepsake. Instruct participants on various techniques and mediums, including painting, drawing, and crafting seasonal decorations. Facilitate a fun and creative environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration among participants. Assist with the setup and organization of the art and craft area during the event. Work closely with the Development Team to ensure a seamless event is experience for our young guests. Provide guidance and encouragement to students, fostering a love of art and creativity. Engage with parents and community members regarding the holiday project. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field preferred.
