Requirements What You Bring Active California C-20 HVAC Contractor License in good standing (Required for RMO). 4+ years of hands-on HVAC/R experience in residential and/or light commercial settings. Strong knowledge of California HVAC codes, California UPC, OSHA/Cal-OSHA standards, and permitting procedures. Leadership ability to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance. EPA Section 608 Universal Certification—mandated for refrigerant work. Own tools and reliable transportation (truck or van). Tech-savvy, comfortable using mobile apps and cloud-based systems.
