Future is looking for an experienced and strategic Manager, Programmatic & Yield Analytics to lead our growing analytics team. We are looking for someone with advanced data analysis capabilities, experience solving complex challenges, and experience developing talent. You will help use diverse data sets (traffic, media, product, sales) to identify opportunities, promote revenue growth, and empower strategic decision-making across our Global Programmatic operations, while also guiding junior team members. What you'll do You will report into the VP, Programmatic Team Leadership & Mentorship: Develop a team of junior programmatic analysts, promoting their growth, refining their analytical skills, and ensuring high-quality output. Provide guidance, technical expertise, and leadership on complex analytical projects and methodologies to the team. Strategic Forecasting & Modeling: Develop advanced forecasting models and programs to improve predictive accuracy and operational efficiency for the global programmatic team and wider partners. Translate complex data models and projections into clear recommendations for senior leadership. Advanced Experimentation & Product Development: Take a lead role in the design, execution, and in-depth post-experiment analysis for new media products, programmatic deal types, and partner integrations, driving recommendations and influencing product roadmaps. Identify and advocate for new testing opportunities based on market trends, competitive analysis, and internal data. Analytics & Strategic Programs: Lead complex analytical projects, such as deep dives into signal uplift for 3rd party cookie reduction strategies or new market explorations, providing critical insights and guiding strategic planning. Identify new trends and develop analytical frameworks and solutions to address future challenges. Data Strategy & Automation Leadership: Lead the strategy and implementation of enhanced reporting and automation solutions across the ad stack and business, improving data transparency, accessibility, and operational efficiency. Promote best practices in data governance, data quality, and data hygiene within the team. Revenue Optimization & Innovation: Independently identify and pursue novel opportunities to use our data sources for substantial revenue generation and efficiency improvements. Lead the exploration and implementation of advanced programmatic strategies, including deep analysis of SSP/Header Bidding auction data to improve PMP pricing, bid request floors, and overall yield management. Comprehensive Revenue Oversight: Manage revenue tracking and reporting systems across all programmatic streams (e.g., PMP, PG, Open Auction), ensuring accuracy and providing strategic commentary and insights. Strategic Partnership: Be the primary analytical partner and subject matter expert to Sales, Ad Operations, Ad Product, and Business Intelligence teams, leading the execution of complex yield-related tasks and strategic programs, and influencing departmental roadmaps. Experience that will put you ahead of the curve Experience: 5+ years of experience performing in-depth data analysis within a digital media or programmatic advertising environment. 3+ years of experience managing junior analysts, with the ability to foster team growth and career progression. Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, including advanced modeling, pivot tables, complex conditional formulas, and VBA/Google Apps Script for automation. Advanced proficiency in Python (or similar programming language like R) for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation, with experience in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn. Demonstrated expertise with common data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI), experience developing interactive dashboards. Command of SQL for querying large datasets from multiple sources. Analytical & Strategic Experience: Experience with statistical methodologies, experimental design (A/B testing), and causal inference. Experience independently framing complex business problems, design analytical solutions, and provide data-backed recommendations that result in measurable impact. Leadership Experience: Experience translating complex data and analytical findings into clear, and insights for all kinds of audiences, including executive leadership. Additional Skills Commitment to producing high-quality, accurate, and impactful analytical work Solid experience implementing and interpreting Machine Learning (ML) / Artificial Intelligence (AI) models for applications such as time series forecasting, classification, clustering, and optimization. In-depth understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, multiple deal types (PMP, PG, Open Auction), and industry trends (e.g., identity solutions, privacy regulations). Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) and associated data warehousing technologies. Familiarity with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
