About the role
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Physician to lead our Men's Health telehealth program. The Lead Physician will be responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires extensive experience in telehealth and a deep understanding of men's health conditions, including erectile dysfunction (ED), hair loss, and testosterone optimization.
Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical oversight and guidance for all telehealth services related to men's health, including the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices
Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care through continuous quality improvement initiatives and regular peer reviews
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing telehealth services and medical practice, including HIPAA and state medical board requirements
Provider Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of qualified healthcare providers, ensuring they meet all licensure and certification requirements
Program Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to expand and enhance the Men's Health telehealth program, identifying new service offerings and technological advancements
Patient Engagement: Foster a patient-centric approach, ensuring a positive and seamless telehealth experience for all patients
Documentation: Oversee accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes
On Platform Hours: Dedicate approximately 15 hours/week on platform with patients
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
Current and unrestricted medical licensure in all 50 states, or willingness to obtain licensure in any additional states required
Current and unrestricted DEA registration
Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urology, etc.).
5+ years of clinical practice experience
Demonstrated experience in telehealth operations and technology
Experience in treating men's health conditions such as erectile dysfunction (ED), hair loss, testosterone optimization, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
